Pela for iPhone

Pela for iPhone and iPad is the primary Pela app. Download it from the App Store and sign in with the same account you use on the web.

| Tutor | Practice and explanation. Ask why a phrase works; rehearse a situation. |
| Chat | An ongoing conversation with the assistant. Saved chats reopen in the web portal. |
| Camera / OCR | Point the camera at text to recognize and translate it. |
| Live | Shared multilingual conversations via QR code or access code. Availability varies by session type and participant app version. |
| Saved language | Phrases and phonetic guides you keep for later. Guides follow the reader's script. |
Account and sync
- One account across iPhone, iPad, and the web portal.
- Contacts are managed in the app and appear read-only in the portal after sync.
- Subscriptions bought through the App Store are managed in Apple's settings; subscriptions bought on pelapela.app are managed in Settings → billing.
Connectivity
Cloud translation, AI tutoring, and Live need an internet connection. Some on-device functionality is available where supported. Offline translation models are downloadable where offered.
Getting help
Use Settings → Contact or email support with the address on your account and a short description. Do not include API keys.
